ice fun

We went ice skating this week. There are cool sleds that are really cool . first you  tie the rope around the handle and pull . I got to go on one .  it  was fun.

ice snacks

We went ice skating again yesterday the Norwegians brought lots and lots of snacks again. Mom asked me what I wanted to blog about I immediately said the snacks. They good cookie and juice but what I really like is the …hot coco. Mom just laughed at me and said “that a twelve year old boy if ever I heard of one.” weird right .it’s going to be a lot longer before I understand girls or moms but for now I’m content understanding food yum.

Ice Skating

On Thursday we went ice skating with some Norwegian friends.  I got pretty good at ice skating, Edie did to.  We went to a lake not far away.  I got a cramp in my foot because my skates were too tight.  It was fun and I get to do it again next Thursday!!

Ice Party

On Thursday we and the Norwegians went to the lake and ice skating it was so much fun.  The only problem was I hadn’t ice skated for three years and my ankles really hurt later I found out that I had gotten a blister and popped it. I think it was really fun for all of us, but I don’t know about anyone else but I just wanted to sleep!

Kazakh Crafts

I don’t know if you have heard yet but Kazakhs are known for their wall hangings   but not just any wall hangings bright wall hangings. They are all so known for their handy crafts like purses and pillows. Of course mom and dad only bring the more dull and less bright.

ger/yert

I peripheral call them gers not yurts but you no. when we first came here we were surprised to find that Kazakh gers are much taller which makes them feel bigger. Any way right about now all the felt should be on the gers, because it is starting to get cold. This morning it sprinkled some snow .
