Jeremy, It was good to hear the happenings as you returned home (the Mongolian one.) I appreciated your realization regarding keeping all the little ducks in our lives in a row by ourselves. As I read your letter, I found myself saying aloud, "No, you don't have to carry the responsibility for your righteousness or religous performance because God, Himself, has pledged His own honor towards our salvation." Then, as I read farther, I settled down and smiled at your description of moving closer to God and finding peace, shelter and security in the shadow of His wings. Your description brought to mind words from a Michael Card song which encourage us to live lives of wreckless abandon to the wisdom of His will and strength of His power. Thanks again, and glad to hear you're home.
Regarding the Reedsport Rotary Club doing a water project in your community, have you had any other thoughts? I'm wondering if a water project is what is needed. Is there another public need (one in which Rotary would be involved) that is more pressing? I've not given up on the idea of potable water at all, I'm just wondering if there's something else that is more needed.
