Fun in a manger

On Christmas we all went to a Kazakh friend’s yard so that Aunt Krista could take some pictures and we could think about Jesus’ birth on Christmas. The first one was of Judah in a bowl with some hay, it was to help us remember Jesus being laid in a manger.  Then, she took pictures of all of us in the little stable; it was a bit crowded and believe me it stunk!  It made me think about how crowded and gross it must have been for Mary and Joseph.  Lastly, she took some pictures for fun of us back with all the hay and a few goat kids.
